Obituary - Leora Clifford, wife of Franklin G. Clifford of N. Ogden, age 65 died last evening at 11:30 at the residents of her daughter Mrs. Howard Spracker, of diabetis. She had been a suffer for three years.
Mrs. Leora Clifford was born in Pennsylvania and crossed the plains with her husband with the pioneers in the early days, and she settled in N. Ogden, and was one of the first one to settle there.
Her baby girl was the first white child born in Ogden valley. All she had for neighbors were Indians and they were on the war path. She never let them know she was afraid.
She has been an active member of the church.
Bishops counselor James Story presiding. The speakers were Mormons, Mr. Reynolds, Charles Storey, John Gibson, Newman Barker, Bishop James Ward. The services were largely attended.
Internment in the City Cemetery.
