Philomena "Fannie" Totaro was born on 04 Jul 1909 in Danbury, Fairfield Co, CT, the second child of eleven born to the union of Francesco Aiello and Maria Antonia Teresa Caterina Romano.

She eloped with and married Joseph Michael Totaro on 22 Nov 1925 at Our Lady of Libera RCC, North Bergen, Hudson Co, NJ, he was the son of Peter Totaro and Mariantonia Viciconti.

Joe and Fannie had two daughters: Gloria Theresa and Marie Dolores.

Joe Totaro died suddenly of a heart attack on 15 Feb 1958 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, Bergen Co, NJ.

Fannie never remarried, remaining a widow for nearly 33 years; she had a heart attack and died while visiting her sister Vincenzina "Tinnie" (Aiello) DiPietro on 11 Nov 1990 in Port Orange, Volusia Co, FL, aged 81 Years 4 Months 7 Days.
