BROOKS, Leo Francis:
Passed away peacefully at home in Washago on March 1, 2000 with his family by his side; in his 70th year. Loved companion of Cecelia McDonald, loving father of Wanda and her husband Dan Burgie of Washago, predeceased by his infant son Lee, cherished Grampa of Brandi, Kyle and Sherri-Lyn. Son of the late Walter and Annie Brooks. Brother of Olive and her husband Bill Irish of Orillia, Daniel and his wife Dorothy of Bass Lake, Janet Johnston of Rathburn, Ross and his wife Marilyn of Washago and Wayne and his wife Melinda of Washago. Special brother-in-law of Donna Brooks of Washago and Roy MacQuarrie of Barrie. Predeceased by his sisters Edna and Dorothy and brothers Tom, arl and Neil. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and cousins. The late Mr. Leo Brooks will rest at The Orillia Community Funeral Home, 38 James Street, East, Orillia from 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday, March 3, 2000. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow, with spring interment of ashes at Ramona Cemetery, Washago. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society.
