OBITUARY:
OLIVE JANE WOOLEY ALLBRITTON, born April 4, 1921 to Joseph and Mattie Wooley in Houston, Texas, went to be with her Lord on November 7, 2008. Mrs. Allbritton went peacefully with her children by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and her beloved husband of 53 years and 11 months, James "Sonny" Allbritton. She is survived by daughters, Lois Booth, and Val Morris and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Theresa Battaglia, Rhet Taylor and wife, Wendy, Chloe Morris, Kimberly Morris, and Kyra Morris; great-grandchildren, Zachari Salmon and Ryley Taylor; sister, Maudie Boehm; brother, Claude Wooley; sisters-in-law, Sophie Allbritton and Blanche Gore; brother-in-law, Donald Allbritton and wife, Elsie, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Olive was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She worked alongside her husband for many years in his cafeteria business, and was active in the Houston Restaurant Association Women's Auxillary. As a young woman she worked for Cameron Ironworks. Olive was an active member of Lazybrook Baptist Church. Everyone who knew her will miss her dearly.

The family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at Lazybrook Baptist Church, 1822 West 18th Street, Houston, Texas 77008.

Interment followed in Forest Park Lawndale, Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Lung Association.

"Ollie lived to be 87 years, 7 months and 3 days old.
I knew Ollie and her family and her mother and father. Her brother Carl and I were in the same class in Waller High School. I am a member of Lazybrook Baptist Church and she and Sonny were friends of mine."
