BIRDIE PAGE, FORMERLY OF BENTON, DIES

Mrs. Birdie Page, 92, of 14 Skyline Drive, South Hadley, Mass., died Wednesday at Holyoke, Mass. Hospital after an illness of a year.

Mrs. Page was a resident of Franklin county most of her life. She and her husband, E.M. "Ed" Page, who died in 1953, operated a grocery store in Benton for many years. She was a member of Stockwell Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harold W. (Roberta) Perkins, South Hadley, Mass.; two sons, Gerald and Elza Page, both of Benton; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Phillips, Benton.

Her parents were the late Joseph (*sic) and Rebecca Hawkins Barnfield.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home in Benton.
