FAYETTE-Funeral services for Mrs.Vada Aldridge,80, of Route 5,Fayette, who died Wednesday in Keith-Caraway Medical Center in Carbon Hill, were to be at 2 p.m. today at the Cedar Grove Church. The Rev. Arlo Peppers was to officiate with burial in the church cemetery and Norwood Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Aldridge, Fayette; three sons, Edward Aldridge, Eugene Aldridge, both of Fayette, Clarence Aldridge,Newnan,Ga.; four daughters, Mrs. Corene Baumgartner, Bankston, Mrs. Irene Blalock, Abbeville, Mrs. Clara Mae Whitson, Berry, Mrs. Estelle Blalock, Abbeville; two brothers, John Delmus Moore, Range, and Luther Moore, Cordova; two sisters, Ada Aldridge and Minnie Aldridge, both of Kennedy; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church and a native and life-long resident of Pickens County.
