Peggy Jane Stewart, 71, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, October 17, 2008. She was born December 20, 1936 the daughter of the late Tom and Thelma Hughes Woodley.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Stewart; one son Tony Moncus; one daughter Jackie Whisenhunt; one brother Bruce "Butch" Woodley; one sister Della Langley.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; Randy and Diane Moncus of Murfreesboro; Dennis and Donita Moncus of Murfreesboro; David Stewart of Kirby; and daughter-in-law Gwen Moncus of Nashville. Three sisters and husband-in-laws, Shirley and Eugene "Boo" Campbell of Murfreesboro; Pat and Jack Sweeden of Murfreesboro; Linda and John West of Sherman, TX; and Betty Woodley of Murfreesboro. Thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday October 19, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Jerry Shinn officiating, burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
