ROSEDALE - Carlos Selso Garcia Jr., 37, of Hazlehurst, formerly of Rosedale, employee with Sun Belt Management Co. for 15 years, died Friday at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson after an auto accident. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Crystal Springs, where he was a communicant, with burial in North Cleveland Cemetery. Fletcher-Nowell Funeral Home in Cleveland has charge. He attended Rosedale High School, Moorhead Junior College and Doyle Flying School in Cleveland. He also supervised other property managers in Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama. He received the Property Manager of the Year award in 1992 and 1996. He served on the board of directors for Rural Rental Housing Development in Jackson. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose and Hazlehurst Lodge, and was a coach with the Hazlehurst youth community. Mr. Garcia, the husband of Tina E. Garcia since 1980, also leaves two daughters, Carla Ann Garcia and Monica Renee Garcia, and a son, Carlos Garcia III, all of Hazlehurst; his parents, Odelia Garcia and Selso Garcia of Rosedale; seven sisters, Catherine Welty and Eva Simmons, both of Cleveland, Maria Luisa Delahoussaye of Merigold, Frances Ann Garcia and Juanita Staples, both of Rosedale, Susana Garcia of Brandon and Beatrice Dunaway of Apex, N.C., and four brothers, Thomas Garcia, Samuel Garcia of Wesson, Jose Garcia of Pace and Johnny Garcia of Mesquite, Texas.
