MRS. ANNA HAMANN
AMHERST, O. Dec 7 -- Mrs. Anna Hamann, 74, died at seven o'clock this morning at her home on Spring street. Mrs. Hamann suffered a bad attack of arithritis last evening which was the cause of her death.
The deceased was born in Cleveland but came to Amherst when a small child. With the exception of a few years spent in Ashtabula she lived the balance of her life in Amherst, residing at the home, in which she died, for the past thirty-five years.
She was the mother of fifteen children, seven of whom are deceased. The following children, with her husband, John Hamann, Sr. survive: Edward of Cleveland, William of Elkhart, Ind, John Jr., and Charles of Amherst, Mrs. Mable Duchoslav, Mrs. Elizabeth Dietrick of Lorain, Mrs. Armina Harmon of Amherst, and Mrs. Edna Grugel at home. Seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Amelia Uthe, who is critically ill at her home in Lorain, also survive.
Mrs. Hamann was a member of the Congregational church of Amherst.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
