Adam R. Carpenter, 72, died at 2 p.m.Saturday at his home, 1429 Grant Avenue, after a long illness. Friends may call at the D. O. McComb Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie; six daughters, Mrs. Emma Long, Cleveland; Mrs. Doris Allison, Ossian, and Mrs. Edith Dorset, Albion; and Mrs. Martha Foust, Mrs. Virginia Hake and Miss Mary, Fort Wayne; and eight sons, Charles, Cloid, George, Russell, Paul and Robert, Fort Wayne; Adam Jr., Jordan, NY; and Eugene, Wausau, Wis.
