THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1935, page 5. - ROBERT ALEXANDER CHENNAULT - Funeral for R. A. Chennault, long time resident of Lamar County, was set for 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Manton-Fry Funeral Home. Burial was to be at the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Chennault, who had been farming three miles north of Petty for the past year, died Tuesday morning at the Lamar County Hospital where he had been a patient for about two weeks. He was 58 years old.
Born in Mississippi, Mr. Chennault came to Texas when he was three years old. With the exception of a few years, he had been a resident of Lamar County ever since. He had been living near Paris, for the past 35 years.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin and Herschel, of the home address; two brothers, J. T. Chennault of Paris, and M. J. Chennault of Dallas.
