Carl Lee Oates, 82, of Woodville died Tuesday at Tyler County Hospital. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. today at the funeral home. A native of Freestone County, she lived in Woodville most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Luther Elza Oates of Woodville; sons, Elza Oates of Woodville, Johnny Oates of Bryan, and Robert F. Oates of Huntsville; sisters, Agnes Hall of Teague and Gladys Williams of Donie; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
