Barnett Mitchem was a son of Charles Eugene & Mary Veale Mitchem of Morgan County, GA. He was married to Ruby Porter. Barnett was a veteran of WW II, serving in the Far East. He owned several food stores in the Atlanta, GA area. He also lived for 29 years in Hernando Beach, FL where he was a real estate developer. Descendants not available at this time.
