"Martha Hazel Davis, 88, died January 6, 2002, in Madison County,
Alabama where she had been a resident of Valley View Nursing Home.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. January 9 at Williams-McCracken
Chapel with Carlos Wilhite officiating. Interment was in Cullman City
Cemetery, Cullman, Alabama.
Mrs. Davis was born April 11, 1913 at Joe's Branch, Tennessee, daughter of the late Charlie and Clara Brown DePriest Walker (sic). She was married to the late Marvin Curtis Davis.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a Grey Lady for the Red Cross at Cullman Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca (Otis) Henderson, Madison, Alabama, and Ramona (Fred) Merrill of Cullman, Alabama; a sister, Mary Ellen Blanchette, Old Hickory; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren." (end transcription. hmh)
