Hettie "Murrell" Green of Live Oak died Friday at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park after a lengthy illness. She was 84. Mrs. Green was born in Live Oak and lived there all her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Advent Christian Church of Live Oak. Survivors include a son, Joseph E. Green of Live Oak, a daughter, Frances Luth of Live Oak, two brothers, Elwood Howard and H.M. Howard, both of Live Oak, two sisters, Evelyn Henderson of Live Oak, and R.V. Johnston, of Dowling Park, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
