Andrew Jackson Thedford, 87, of Route 2, Tyler, lifelong resident of Smith County, died at hme, Monday 9 Jul 1962 after an illness of several months.
Services will be Wednesday, 4 pm, St Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. M. Shamburger of the First Baptist Church. Burial, Dean Cemetery.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, oldest member of the Boone Bible Class of that church.
He was in the Laundry business.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lexie Price Thedford of Tyler, three sons, Carroll T. Thedford of Tyler, Ray Thedford of Floydada and Jack D. Thedford of Tyler; three daughters, Mrs. Fred M. Barron, Mrs. Edward Quinn and Mrs. Lewis L. Hooker, all of Tyler. 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
