Funeral services for Raymond Bullock of Ft. Worth were held last Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Hopewell Methodist Church. C.D. Johnson of McKinney and O.F. Langford of Gilmer were officiating ministers, and Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Sharpe of Tyler, furnished music. Suggs Funeral Home of Dallas was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bullock was born in 1915 in Upshur County and passed away Sunday, Feb. 10 at the age of 41 en route to a Ft. Worth Hospital.

Survivors are: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Bullock, formerly of Upshur County; seven brothers, Luther of Gilmer, John of Farmersville, Burl of Tyler, Cleo of Ft. Worth, Dean of Borger, Roy of Virginia, Foy of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Ila Wolfe of Dallas, Mrs. Ralph Folsom of Baytown, and numerous other relatives of Upshur County.

Another service was held at Suggs Funeral Home in Dallas last Tuesday.

Stab Death Suspect Held in Lieu of Bond

Fletcher Mack Massey, 51, was in county jail in lieu of $5,000 bond Tuesday after he was charged with murder.

He was named as the slayer of Raymond Hurbert [sic] Bullock, 41, who was stabbed to death in his room at Roxy Hotel, 1409 1/2 Main, Sunday night.
