John "Burke" Kovalsky was a loving father of three and husband of Helen Kovalsky. He was a devoted husband to his wife and devoted to his family. He was a veteran of world war 2 veteran having served with the United States Navy Reserve but in 1965 would loose a battle with cancer in 1965 and is interned with his parents and wife in the family plot.
