Lady was a female, golden retriever. She was found wondering around the Lawton Airport, covered with ticks. She was taken home, cleaned up, and loved dearly for the next 16 years. She would help raise kids, farm hogs, go hiking and camping in the Wichita Mountains, Lake Lawtonka, and where ever else the family took her. She was good to kids, and she would let them ride her. She was put to rest by Dr. Haney at the Mid-town Animal Hospital, after she could no longer get up and stand up. She had the hip dysplasia, and bad cateracts. Her good old heart just wouldn't give up. We loved lady; she was a member of the family.
