Alana Taylor, 64, of Captain Cook, HI, died July 10 at Kona Community Hospital. Born February 13, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT, she was a caregiver, nurse's aide and a former group home advisor for Kona Krafts.
Visitation 8 a.m. Saturday, August 9 at Puka'ana Congregational Church in Hawaii. Service at 10 a.m.

She is survived by life partner, John Spencer of Captain Cook, HI; brother, Paul Taylor (Robyn) of Clearfield, UT; stepsons, Nathan Spencer of Keauhou, HI., Shaun Spencer of Kealakekua, HI., stepdaughter, Leilani Spencer of Captain Cook, HI; eight step-grandchildren, a step-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
Alana was loved by many for her love, kindness and genuine compassion for the less fortunate.
