US Confederate Pension record which was file 06 Dec 1921 for a Mr. William Baxter McCarley who died on 16 Mar 1917, supposed widower of Mrs. Ida McCarley.

They married in July 1899 and lived at 1709 South Harwood Street, Dallas, Texas

Census records provide that Ida was his second wife.

They had, at least: May, Hazel, Agnes, Vera, and one other.
