Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday evening by Judy Nell Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hoffman, and Roxy Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Gordon, all of Talpa.

Double ring vows in the Talpa Methodist Church were read by the Rev. Ross Grace, pastor.

Wedding music was by Sally Parker of Talpa.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of chantilly lace over satin. The full skirt was accented by ruffled tulle tiers. The moulded lace bodice featured a scalloped square neckline. Her fingertip veil of illusion was held by a tiara of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and valley lilies on a Bible. She wore an heirloom wedding band belonging to her grandmother, Mrs. G. W. Williams of Ballinger.

Vicki Davis of Lamesa was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janice Haygood and Linda Slaughter, both of Ballinger. Beth Slavinsky was flower girl. Attendants were gowned in pastel blue brocade satin designed with slim skirts and bodices styled with brief sleeves, round neckline and a flat bow at the center waistline. Their matching veil circlets were accented with a blue rose. Each carried a fan topped with a bouquet of white carnations. Robert Hale of Ballinger was best man. John Murry of Hobbs,
N. M., and Mike Rush of Talpa were groomsmen and seated guests.

Johnny Huffman, brother of the bride, and Johnny Slaughter of Ballinger lighted candles.

Reception was held in the home of the bridegroom's parents in Talpa.

The couple will be at home at 4811 S. Congress, Austin, where the bridegroom is a sophomore at the University of Texas, majoring in journalism. He is also employed by the State Water Commission.

The bride attended Ballinger High School.

Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Gordon were hosts at the rehearsal dinner on Friday at their home in Talpa.
