Mrs. Coleman was born in Ireland and was 74 years of age. When a very small child she with her parents went to Nova Scotia where they lived for a short time, later coming to this country and locating in Lonaconing, then came to Frostburg where she lived until the end.
Mrs. Coleman was one of the best-known ladies in this place and was recognized as a devout Christian and perhaps has dispensed more charity than any lady who has lived here, having been interested in charity work all her life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, James Coleman in Santa Barbara, Calif; Thomas Coleman of Pittsburg, PA; Samuel and John of Frostburg; and three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Morgan of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Jennie T. Davis and Mrs. Nannie T. Sullivan of Frostburg.
