OBITUARY:
Vanda Sylvia Lucich Santos, 74, passed away March 17, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 8, 1938 to Bernard and Margaret Lucich. She worked as a waitress at her parent's restaurant 'La Fonda' in Corpus Christi, Texas for many years, as well as a Bank teller. She is preceded in death by her husband Raul A. Santos. She is survived by her children Robert (Bebe) Santos, Roxanna (Donnie) Freeman, Ronda (Kenny) Richter; four great- grandchildren; brothers Bernard (Evelyn) Lucich and Vernon Lucich; aunts Alice Gutierrez, Sugar (Johnny) Johnson. Also surviving numerous nieces and nephews. A special Thanks to some of the people who helped care for her; Becky Ysaguirre, Legacy Hospice and her Doctors.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
