Mrs. S. T. McGrew Dies at Chatfield

Chatfield, Minn. - (Special to The Republican-Herald)- Mrs. S. T. McGrew, 76 years old, died last night at 7:20 o'clock at her home here from apoplexy. She had been ill several months.

A resident of Chatfield 40 years, Mrs. McGrew was born Alma Farrington October 1,, 1860, near Fillmore, and was married January 9, 1878, there.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. William Ellis and Mrs. Walter Gammell, Chatfield; Mrs. Kenneth Moon, Long Lake, Minn., and Mrs. L. F Preston, Waseca, Minn.; two sons, Charles and Roy, Minneapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Bowers, Spring Valley, Minn., and Mrs. E. D. Farrington, Caledonia, Minn., and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. R. Jay Wilson of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Chatfield cemetery.
