Margreat May Arnold Talbot, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023 in Rowlett, TX. She was born on February 13, 1928 to Albert and Ella Arnold in a small town near Rogers, TX named Davilla which consisted of two country roads. Margreat was raised there and graduated from Sharp High School as the Valedictorian of her class. She received several scholarships but did not attend college and instead went straight to work at Camp Hood. Marge's great passion was volleyball. She began playing volleyball in her junior high school days and played throughout her life. She was a part of the Senior Olympics Volleyball team during the 1980s and went on to win 3 gold medals in 1987, 1989 and 1991. She continued to play up until the early 2000s on various teams with the Senior Olympics.

She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for over 30 years where she met and married Phil Talbot in 1972. She loved her church and was very strong in her faith to God. To most who knew and loved her, she was simply known as "Grammy".

She is survived by her son, Donovan Maze and wife, Marcy; grandsons, Jeff Maze and wife, Summerlin and Scott Maze and wife, Brittney; several great-grandchildren, Josh Maze, Hunter Maze, Dillon Maze, Aria Maze and Axel Maze and one great-great grandchild, Banks Maze.

A visitation for Margreat will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Rogers Cemetery, Rogers Cemetery Rd, Rogers, TX 76569.
