Shearouse; devoted father of Mary Bach, Dana Shaffer and Charles Shearouse; loving brother of Kitty Futrelle. Also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at Mt. Vernon Place Methodist Church, 900 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, DC 2001 on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003.
