Lola Remington, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully
on September 2, 2023 at age 94 in Goshen, Indiana.
Born in Leaf River, Illinois, her family moved to Goshen where she attended
Goshen High School. She continued her education and became a registered nurse. Always one for adventure, she moved to California to work where she met
and married the late Dr. Jack Remington (former spouse).
She was active in her community and remained a registered nurse volunteer.
Later in life, she returned to school and became a medical records technician,
then retired to Goshen.
Lola was an active hiker and lover of the mountains and all things in nature.
She travelled the world extensively and especially enjoyed Asia,
where she trekked through Nepal.
She was a fiercely independent woman whose kind-heartedness will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two children, Lynne Remington (Geoffrey Goldberg)
and David Remington (Whindy), and three grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda and Aaron.
Per her wishes, her life will be celebrated privately with family.
