Myrle Brand Ward, 88, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. Services were Monday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in Marks Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.
Ward, born June 28, 1919, in Calhoun City, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Donald Ward and one son, Carl Ward.
Survivors include: one son, Parry Ward of Tocowa; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Mitchell of Southaven; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
