At the age of 16, she was living at Gage, Oklahoma. She was repairing a fence and was approached by a neighbor with whom the family was having a dispute. They had left and she had continued to repair the fence, when she saw them returning, she went into the house and asked her brothers to help her. Her father and her brothers went with her and while they continued to work on the fence, the neighbor and another person approached them again. Words led to gunfire and she saw her father and one of her brothers killed.
I wish to express how grateful I am to God's Special Angel for sponsoring my grandmother's memorial
