Marina grew up in a few locations over the years, ranging from Eaglesham, Athabaska, St Albert , Camrose and Beaumont as the 5th of 8 children. She married young to her teenage sweetheart, David Bliss, and although their marriage wasn't permanent, they shared three beloved children and remained good friends all throughout the remainder of Marina's life.
Marina went on to meet her life partner, Villy Madsen, and spent many happy hears with him as a devoted spouse and mother. She made countless fond memories spending the summers camping, sailing, gardening, crafting and renovating the house with various DIY projects. She took pride in hosting family for dinners for holidays with a full spread of home cooked food and always had a very giving spirit; collecting toys throughout the year to donate to a family in need at Christmas to ensure that every child had at least a few gifts to open on that sacred and special day.
