William A Turner, a resident of the Rossburg community 32 years, died Sunday afternoon at his home, following a heart attack. He was forn in Indiana in 1854, and would have been 81 years of age if he had lived until June 15th.

Fourteen years of Mr. Turner's life were spent in Goodland, Kansas, and six years at Afton, Iowa, before coming to Northern Minnesota. He married Viola Spencer, who passed away in 1896. Five of their seven children survive them.They are Fred of Salem, Oregon; Bert of Rossburg; Leon of Peonia, Colorado; Floyd of Brainerd and Alma Stewart of Rossburg. Thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were from Lutheran church at Rossburg with the pastor John S. Benson, officiating on Thursday afternoon. Burial was in the Rossburg cemetery.
