Mrs. Gladys Virginia Harvey, age 86, of Macclenny, Fla., died Thursday, March 8, 2001. She was a native of Baker County, Fla. She had resided in Macclenny since 1976 moving from Jacksonville, Fla. She was a homemaker and member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Selvin E. Harvey, Sr. and was the daughter of the late David and Arabelle Canady Yarborough.
Survivors include her son, Selvin E. "Bud" Harvey, Jr. (Regina) of Panama City, Fla.; daughter, Wilma Carver (Hollis) of Macclenny, Fla.; grandchildren, Nancy Harvey of Beaufort, S.C., Michael Harvey (Linda) of Lake Jackson, Tex., Lisa Yazdiya (John) and Pamela Carver, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Joshua Yazdiya of Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral services was held on Saturday, March 10, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. in Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, with Elders David Crawford and Jesse Roberts officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. The family received friends Friday, March 9, 2001, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla.
