Selvin E. Harvey, Sr. 66, of 274 N. 6th St., Macclenny, died Saturday. He was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, and was a retired bus drive for the former Jacksonville Coach Company. He was a member of Transportation Local #1197. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Yarborough Harvey; a daughter, Mrs. Hollis (Wilma) Carver, both of Macclenny, a son, CWO2, U.S.M.C. Selvin E. (Bud) Harvey, Jr., Parris Island, S.C.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruby Fuqua, Orange Park, and Mrs. Louise Coleman, Jacksonville; 3 brothers, Russell Harvey and Aubrey Harvey, both of Jacksonville, and James Harvey, Glen St. Mary; also 4 grandchildren, Lisa Gail Carver, and Pamela Carver, both of Macclenny and Nancy Harvey and Michael Harvey, both of Parris Island, S.C. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 from the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, Elder David Crawford and Elder Herman L. Moody officiating. Active pallbearers, Lawrence Green, Alton Crawford, W.S. Brosky, L.B. Malloy, Vernon Reddish, and Jack Higgins.
