Herbert Wesley Repine, age 82, of Elizabeth City, N.C., died Sunday, June 23, 2002 in Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Barnesboro, Pa., the son of the late Blaine and Leila Lomman Repine and was the husband of Erma Swain Repine of the residence. Mr. Repine retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retired civil service worker for the U.S. Coast Guard.
Besides his wife, Mr. Repine is survived by one daughter, Karen Havner of Elizabeth City, N.C.; two sisters, Winnie Stitt of Clymer, Pa. and Jane Abel of Indiana, Pa.; one brother, Gene Repine of Punxsutawney, Pa.; one granddaughter, Sarah Havner of Elizabeth City, N.C.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, June 26,2002 at 11 a.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery...Memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Missions Fund, 109 Chadburn Ave., Elizabeth City, N.C., 27909...
