Born in Plattsmouth, Neb., he was a son of the late Harry and Harriet Bomgardner Yake. He had worked as a weight master for the Cornwall Railroad and worshipped in the Protestant faith. Surviving is a brother, David J. Yake, Morehead City, N.C. He was preceded in death by a sister, H. Josephine Miller. [Lebanon Daily News]
