6 Jan 1992: Adam D. Miller, 91, formerly of 217 E. Maple St., Annville, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1992, in Spang Crest Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late H. Josephine Yake Miller, who died in 1983. Born in Rehrersburg, he was the son of the late Henry and Jennie Peiffer Miller. He had been a salesman for the Lebanon Paper Box Company for 51 years and was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Annville, where he had taught Sunday school and was a former member of Church Council and building, social ministry and stewardship committees. He had been on the Annville-Cleona School Board and was a member of the Annville Rotary Club, American Legion and Senior Citizens, Mt. Lebanon Lodge F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory and Lebanon BPOE. He was a representative to the Governor's Justice Commission in 1973 and the Area Agency for the Aging in 1980. He was awarded the Annville Community Service Award in 1975. He was a 1918 graduate of Annville High School and a 1922 graduate of Lebanon Valley College. Surviving are a son, Owen D. Miller, Baltimore; a brother, Henry W. Miller Jr., Alexandria, Va., and a grandson, Douglas O. Miller. [Lebanon Daily News]
