Rudolph Mathias Chilcote died at his home Blair Mills R.D., on Friday evening, December 7, 1945.

He was born in Tell Township on April 27, 1877. His wife, Marguerite McMullen Chilcote, survives as do four children: Victoria (Mrs. Ernest Roddy), Altoona; Elizabeth (Mrs. Banks Goshorn), Blair Mills R. D.; Lawrence Chilcote, Blair Mills R.D.; and Berlin Chilcote at home. Nine grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Chilcote was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shade Valley. The funeral service will be held at that church at ten o'clock on Wednesday morning, the Rev. Father Joseph Rusnak officiating. Interment will be made by Ott's funeral service in the cemetery adjoining church. Friends may call at the Chilcote home.
