EUGENE J. SULLIVAN, SR. - 65

SULLIVAN Eugene “Gene” J. Sullivan, Sr. 65, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on May 21st, 2005, after a long illness. Daddy we will always remember your fighting spirit!!! Born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 12, 1939 to Edward and Ida Sullivan, some of his most treasured days were growing up in Fairfield. It was during that time that he met and married the love of his life, Ann Spivey Sullivan. His wife of forty-five years, who predeceased him in 2003. Together they owned Ace Fuel Oil for many years. In true character he continued to work until his illness at McGill's Custom Countertops. “Uncle Gene” will be greatly missed! He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Gene, Jr.; daughter, Carmen Daniel (Joel), Karen Ruschell (Randy) and Cathy Luke (Mike) and his most adored grandchildren, Heather Gilpin (Ola), Stephanie, Lindsay, Brandon, Bradley, Payge, Kristin, Katie, Amanda, Joseph, Anna and great-grandchildren, Jazzmine, Justis, Jordan and Makylah. His sister, Bobbie Guyton (Byron) and brothers, Buddy Sullivan (Bobbie) and Jimmy Sullivan (Janice). A very special nephew who he loved as a brother, David McGill (Sharon), brother-in-law Drew Spivey (Judy), his best friend Horace Lombardi, special cousins, Granvil and Gerry Anderson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his loving siblings, Connie Bonds, Doris Smith and Dee Dee Sullivan. GO GATORS!!!! WE LOVE YOU DADDY!! Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, noon time, May 25th 2005 at the Chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 940 Cesery Blvd. with the committal service to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
