Rose Mary "Rosie" Moyer, 87 passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 5-7 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service 10 A.M. Saturday, April 15 at Asbury United Methodist Church with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial to follow at Ottumwa Cemetery.

Rosie was born July 13, 1935 on the farm in Bladensburg IA. The daughter of Noah and Lola Black Reinier. She attended a one room school house through 8th grade and graduated from Agency High School.

Rosie and Jack wintered for 25 years in Fort Myers, Fl. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Iowa Hawkeye men's and women's basketball fan. Rosie was very strong in her faith. Throughout the years she was actively involved in UMW and Pautz/Chada groups at Asbury.

First and foremost, Rosie was a great Mom and homemaker. She worked at Metco Credit Union and later worked along side Jack, running the Moyer Plumbing and Heating business.

Those left to cherish her memory include; Sue (Dave) Nauman, Tony (Joyce) Moyer, Angie (Terry) Turner. 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Jack, Brothers; Kenneth, Harold, Stanley, Les, Howard and Wayne. Sisters; Edna, Elsie and Edith.
