Obituary by Carter Funeral Home
Arlegus Brooks Jr. was born April 1, 1992 to Joan White and Orlee Brooks in Starkville, Mississippi. Arlegus was a 2010 graduate of New Hope High School.

Arlegus transitioned unexpectedly after a long 5 year battle with cancer. Before his illness, he enjoyed making music, customizing cars and being around family. He was known for working a host of jobs all at once, which he enjoyed. We will always remember him as a hard worker and a caring and loving person.

When you think of Arlegus, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Arlegus was preceded in death by his grandmother Matilda, grandfather, Horton; uncle, Earnest, and aunts Patricia and Darlene.

He leaves to cherish his fun and loving memories: his mother, Joan White of Columbus, MS; father, Orlee Brooks of Macon, MS; three sisters, Twisha Brooks, Kenisha (Andre) Roges, Kenosha Cunningham of Columbus, MS, five brothers, Dalven (Mariah) Brooks of Houston, TX; Danquarius Brioks, Denauris Brooks, Jaycee King and Anthony Brooks; three children, LaQuantaviouds Perry, Jaquayvau Perry, Malaysia Perry; his fiance, Laken Perry. He also leaves three nieces, two nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
