Obituary of Jimmie D Bevins

Jimmie D Bevins, age 86 passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

He was originally from the Eastern, KY town of McRoberts and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church, Masonic Okolona Lodge #853, and the German American Club. He was a shift supervisor at American Synthetic Rubber Corporation and retired from there in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Bevins and his sister, Flona Brewer. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Bevins Hines (Kenneth) and Kimberly Bevins Letavec (Stephen), sons Allen Bevins (Kathy) and Herschel Bevins (Laura); Step-son, David Logsdon(Min); Step-daughters, Michelle Ramsey (Ray) and Jeannie Johnson(David). A sister, Twila Caudill; Brothers, Marshall Bevins, Carter Bevins, Ricky Bevins; 11 Grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the staff at Glenridge Health Campus who have taken such good care of him in the past year.
Cremation was chosen. His service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy to Deer Park Baptist Church.
