Obituary for Lowell Edwin Wise
Lowell Edwin Wise was born September 07, 1933 to Dick and Lorraine (Taylor) Wise in Edgar, Nebraska. In 1935 at the age of 2 his family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he graduated high school in 1951.

Lowell then went on to attend the University of Idaho, married his high school sweetheart, Katherine Scott, and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation Lowell went to work for Tidewater Oil Company based in Sacramento, California. Then he moved his growing family to Los Angeles, California, Seattle, Washington, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

In 1967 Phillips Petroleum purchased Tidewater and moved Lowell's family to Bartlesville, Oklahoma. While at Phillips he was an active member and held office with the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE). This organization allowed Lowell and Kathy opportunities to travel which they loved.

In 1985 Lowell retired from Phillips and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be near his daughters and their families. Lowell then did contract work for Williams Brothers, Fleur Daniels, and once again, Phillips Petroleum. He permanently retired in 2005 to take care of Kathy and play with his grandchildren.

Lowell was preceded in death by his parents Dick and Lorraine Wise, his loving wife, Kathy and his son-in-law, Donald Garloch.

Lowell is survived by his Uncle Harry Felthauser of Los Alamos, New Mexico, his brother, Royce Wise and wife Darlene of Irvine, California, sisters Ruth Debloois of Yuma, Arizona, and LeIla Mason of Twin Falls, Idaho, his daughters Connie Garloch of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and Leah Frohrip and husband Jim of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, his grandchildren and their families, Amy Lowry and husband Jason with daughters Amelia and Vivian of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Tori Martin and husband Derek with their children Connor, Valorie, and Vanessa of Tulsa, Oklahoma

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Immediately following the visitation a graveside service will be held in the Garden of Remembrance, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
