Kenneth Lamar Harber, 80, passed away February 26, 2023 in Stonewall, Louisiana. Born to Clyde Edward and Ivy Dee Harber on July 15, 1942 in Harleton, Texas. Kenneth loved his family, he was always willing to help family, friends or anyone in need. He never missed an opportunity to attend his children and grandchildren's sporting events. Kenneth worked in the freight business but loved working in his yard in his free time.

Kenneth joins in Heaven his parents; sisters, Dee Ridgeway, Billie Harber and Ruby Tebbetts; and his infant brother Robert Wayne Harber.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sherry Loftis Harber, of Stonewall, Louisiana; son Steve Harber (Terri), of Stonewall, Louisiana; daughters, Angie Harber Nixon of Benton, Louisiana and Rhonda Harber Thompson of Carthage, Texas; grandchildren, Brad Harber (Kristal) of Jacksonville, Florida, Brian Harber of Stonewall, Louisiana, Adam Nixon (Ashley) of Haughton, Louisiana, Brooke Renee of Benton, Louisiana, and Cade, Jace and Bryce Thompson of Carthage, Texas; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Sammy and Dean Harber of Jacksonville, Florida, Elijah Nixon of West Monroe, Louisiana, Zach Zwyer of Benton, Louisiana, and Lainey Pickard of Haughton, Louisiana; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Harber will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00am. Interment will follow services at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas. Serving as pallbearers for Kenneth will be his grandsons, Brad, Brian, Adam, Cade, Jace, and Bryce.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ted Warren, Dr. Tyler Lash, and the nurses in the Critical Care Unit at Willis Knighton North. The family would also like to thank Debbie Gilmore and Paul Erickson for all the love and support shown during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens' Hospital.
