EDEN - Jack Junior Alderman, 71, of 5190 N.C. 700, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2000, at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Dan View Cemetery.
A native of Spray (now Eden), he was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War. He retired from American Tobacco.
Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Edna Estes Alderman of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail A. and George Brewer and Susan A. and Mike Hall, all of Wentworth; and grandchildren, Tony Brewer, Matthew Brewer, Shayna Hall and Manda Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and five sisters.
