Sandra K. Tharp, age 77, of Waynesburg, died Sunday October 23, 2022, in Washington Health System Hospital. Sandra was born April 29, 1945, in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Kerns Carpenter. Sandra was a seamstress and garment cutter at the former Greenway Clothing Co. of Waynesburg. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Ann Bennett (John) of Waynesburg; 2 stepchildren, Brian Bennett (Kelsie), and Elizabeth Bennett; 5 great grandchildren, Coleman and Zaidyn Bennett, Kaitlyn Bennett, and twins, Daniel and Liam Bennett. A brother, Charles R. Carpenter is deceased. Funeral Services are private and being handled by the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home.
