Jerry Ann Mason, daughter of the late Annie Ruth (Pantone) and Johnnie Lee Pilgrim, was born December 23, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia.

She departed this life February 2, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Waynesville, Missouri at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Jerry grew up and attended school in the Atlanta area where she was a 1955 graduate of Hapeville High School.

On April 30, 1969 in East Point, Georgia, Jerry was united in marriage with John D. Mason, and to this union two children were born: Julie and John D. Jr. John D. Sr. preceded her in death April 19, 2007.

Over the years, Jerry held various accounting jobs. Upon moving to the Pulaski County, Missouri area, she worked at Sunset Village of the Ozarks in St. Robert for seven years in the early 1990's. She was a member of the St. Robert Church of Christ.

Jerry was blessed with many gifts. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilting. She also loved painting and her Boston Terriers, Beau and Bonnie.

Jerry was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her children: Julie (Scott) Fowler of White, GA and John (Jean) Mason, Jr. of Fredrickburg, VA; one brother: Johnnie (Cathy) Pilgrim of Locust Grove, GA; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Preacher Randall Duvall officiating. Jerry's brother, Johnnie Pilgrim recalled his wonderful memories of her. Members of the Church of Christ sang "Farther Along", "Old Rugged Cross" and "I'll Fly Away". Serving as escorts were John Mason, Jr., Scott Fowler, Martin Anderson, Luis Williams, Brian McKee and Mike Sheek.

Burial followed in the Old Success Cemetery of Success, Missouri. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
