Teresa Frances (Terry) Riordan was born March 12, 1928 in Des Moines, IA to Josephine Frances Riordan "Jo" (who was born Feb 22, 1898 in Ford City, MO to Anna Agnes Ronan 1865-1936 and to Edmund D Beaslin 1856-1913) and to Dr. Charles Timothy Riordan (who was born Nov 4, 1893 in St. Joseph, MO to Daniel Riordan 1858-1955 and to Margaret M Conroy "Maggie" 1870-1953.)

Terry was the 4th of 5 children:

1.Mary Riordan Stults 1923-2018

2.Dr. Bob Riordan 1924-1981

3.Margaret Riordan Downey 1925-1992

4.Teresa "Terry" Riordan Wright 1928-2020

5.Rosalie Riordan Dunham 1930

Terry grew up in Des Moines and met James Wallace Wright (who was born Dec 3, 1925 in Des Moines, IA to Lawrence Wallace Wright 1892-1954 and to Nelle (Helen) Marie Farley 1893-1982.)


Jim had graduated from Drake University in Des Moines with a business degree. He got a job with Biddle Advertising. Jim served in the Army in World War II from Camp Dodge IA enlisting in June of 1944.


Terry and Jim were married at her family Parish of St. Augustine on May 5, 1951. They were transferred to Bloomington, IL and then Jim started his own company, Impact Advertising in Memphis, TN.

Jim and Terry had 5 children:

1.Joseph Michael Wright 1952–

2.Larry Patrick Wright 1954–

3.Thomas Anthony Wright 1956–

4.Robert Edward Wright 1957–

5.Christopher Paul Wright 1959–1980

6.Steven Timothy Wright 1961–

Their son Chris died in a tragic car accident on August 4, 1980 and is buried at Calvary Cemetery, Memphis where his parents are also now buried.

Their son, Bob, was ordained a Catholic Priest in June of 1985 but later left the priesthood.

The other sons had also been involved with their dad's advertising business.

Jim died Nov 14, 2017 at age 91 and Terry also died at age 91, 3 years later on Jan 4, 2020. They were buried from their parish church of the Holy Spirit in Memphis.

Both are buried at Calvary Cemetery.
