KRESS - Floyd A. Fore, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in First Methodist Church with Eric Lovell, Ron Kelley, pastor, and Gene Louder officiating. Burial will be in Kress Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia.
Mr. Fore was born and raised in Eastland. He attended schools at Liberty Hill. He served in the Army from 1945 to 1947.
In 1951 he moved to Kress, where he worked for the Kress Independent School District as a custodian. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Kress.
Mr. Fore married Ira Taylor in 1936 at Cross Plains.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Margaret Dunn of Tulia; two sons, Pat Fore of Kress and Mike Fore of Childress; a sister, Dorothy Lovell of Cross Plains; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
