Robert Edward Mayes, Jr. affectionately known as "Bobby" was born on Thursday, November 29, 2001, in Houston Texas at Texas Women's Hospital. The first-born child of Robert Mayes Sr and Dessalyn Bradford. Bobby was always about family and had a heart made of gold. He accepted Christ at an early age at New Light Christian Center Church. Bobby began his academics in Houston, Texas at Light Christian Academy, he later attended McNabb/Cook Elementary, York Jr. High, Grand Oaks High School and graduated from Klein Collins High School in 2021. Throughout school Bobby played softball, basketball, football and the trumpet. In High School, he developed a love for music. He would go to the studio and lay out tracks for hours about
his family and life. Bobby was a man with many talents and always had the goal of becoming an entrepreneur. Bobby was truly loved by all his family and friends. His personality could immediately light up a room. He will be missed extremely.

Bobby was preceded in death by his best friend DaJuan Townes and cousin Yavonne Mayes.

Most of all Bobby loved his family. He set an extraordinary example of selfless love for all of them. Bobby leaves to cherish his parents Robert Mayes and Dessalyn (Justin) Bradford. His siblings: Dessalyn "DeeDee", Jaylynn, Justin Jr, David, Christian, and Elijah. His Grandparents: Lynn and Judy Mayes, Edward and
Jacqueline Frohm and Alfonzo and Dessalyn Murray. Great Grandmothers: C. Ann Chapman and Gertie Mayes. His uncles and aunts: Patrick (Teisha) Mayes, Jermaine (Ryan) Murray, and Dawn Murray-Simpson. His cousins: Cameron, Antonio, Triston, Gahvyn, Kristopher, Olivia, Phillip Jr and Aniya. His Godmothers: Kiarra Lastie and Jacoloquise Smith. God-brothers: Zacheus Hackett and Jerell Pate Jr. Close Family: Eduardo II, Rosalind, Eduardo III, and Alexus Spragg. A host of other family including great aunts and uncles, cousins, and a great host of friends.
